Despite me only listing problems, this film is definitely more entertaining in a way than AOTC by at least a little bit.
Most of the characters are eh and not that interesting or good anyways besides 3 people (excluding the OG cast). Kylo ren does look intimidating and can do some cool stuff but honestly the terrible mic he has with his mask and the fact he throws temper tantrums like Anakin from EP II doesn't let me take him seriously. Rey takes up possibly a great idea that could have done with Finn, Rey literally ran away and said "I don't want to be involved" while Finn went to battle with the lightsaber yet the force only chooses her just because Hollywood (don't tell me because of the twist of Episode 9, this film didn't intent that at the time). This film introduced the Mary Sue of all Mary Sues, Rey. This film does have other problems besides the ones I just mentioned. The pacing is random and the story is almost exactly like A New Hope.
